Cut Loose From All Apparent Moorings

Stay with the One and never deviate from It, never leave It for a moment. Nothing else can equal this attitude. TO DESERT THE TRUTH IN THE HOUR OF NEED IS TO PROVE THAT WE DO NOT KNOW THE TRUTH. When things look the worst, that is the supreme moment to demonstrate, to ourselves, that there are no obstructions to the operation of Truth. When things look the worst is the best time to work, the most satisfying time. The person who can throw himself with a complete abandon into that Sea of Receptivity, having cut loose from all apparent moorings, is the one who will always receive the greatest reward.

Ernest S. Holmes - Science of Mind Textbook - P 282-283

So...LET'S TALK....!!

Treatment:

Looking upon the circumstances which surround me, I bless them even as Jesus blessed the bread and broke it, and even as the loaves and fishes multiplied in the outstretched and upturned hand of his love, so I know that everything in my experience that is good is multiplied and increased. Even as I feel the increase pressing into my own experience, I give it out, with no thought of return, that it may feed and bless and multiply the good of others, these others who are some part of me because God is in them and in me, and we are in each other.

Ernest S. Holmes and Raymond Charles Barker

A Quote from a Friend and Teacher

"It’s time once again to turn our gaze inside ourselves and reclaim our own sense of purpose and inner strength that is not being blown back and forth with the political winds. Lighten the load and return to yourself. Create something beautiful, something powerful that moves the needle in the right direction. Dust yourself off and be the change."

Source Unknown...but Sage Words

"An entire sea of water can't sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship.

Similarly, the negativity of the world can't put you down

unless you allow it to get inside you."

Mountain[top]:

A mountain represents an exalted state of mind where the divine plan may be perceived and unfolded; a state of spiritual realization. The "high mountain" to which personality carries is in our spiritual uplift of consciousness of power over mortal thought in all its earthly avenues of expression. Going up the mountain to pray means elevating our thoughts and our aspirations to the spiritual viewpoint.

Thanks for this centering, grounding message Rev Lloyd. You’ve never hidden your political lean but you’ve always kept a space for other perspectives. As a Bobby Kennedy volunteer and supporter, I reluctantly morphed into a Trump supporter and have not been this optimistic since the Obama years. Thomas and Ernest (and Lloyd) have been with us on this journey all year as we worked across Wisconsin to educate and register voters. We need your teaching more than ever to embrace and shape this next chapter. Make America Spiritual Again! jon
