The emphasis on true mental healing is insistently on God, the One Mind, the One Soul, the One Being, ever-present and ever-available; and on man’s ability and right to make himself receptive to this healing Presence—a realization of the essential divinity of our own nature, and the truth that no evil can live in this Presence. We must unify ourselves with the great Whole.
The man who dares to fling his thought out into Universal Intelligence, with the assurance of one who realizes his divine nature and its relation to the Universe—and dares to claim all there is—will find an ever-creative good at hand to aid him. God will honor his request. To the soul that knows its own divinity, all else must gravitate. Let us, then, enlarge our thought processes, and dare to think in Universal terms. Let us dare to believe that every constructive word is invincible!

So...LET'S TALK!!
It struck me deeply in reading the above lesson, and in particular the word INVINCIBLE, so much so, that I looked up the exact definition in the dictionary. As has happened to me before, Dr. Holmes writing’s always gives me insight and stamina to understand the contemporary activities of my brethren humans. This is especially true, given the unfoldment that is taking place in Ukraine and the Russian Invasion.
As I wrote last week, the current news created a temporary feeling of Helplessness. This time however it was short-lived. I owe this relief again to the writing,s of Dr. Holmes and in particular to our current Spiritual Leader, Dr. Edward Viljoen. His recommended Science of Mind daily lessons which I read daily gave me strength. An excerpt of this lesson is quoted above. Please note its ending word, INVINCIBLE.
The definition of the word is as follows:
INVINCIBLE: ”INCAPABLE OF BEING CONQUERED, OVERCOME, OR SUBDUED”
“To the Soul that knows It’s own Divinity, all else must gravitate”. These are Dr. Holmes's words as though he were writing this lesson to the people of Ukraine. I believe this is no coincidence. In fact, if the truth be known, I don’t believe in coincidence at all. An example has again shown up in writing these Reflections. I know, I don’t just believe, I will be given the perfect lesson‘s from the writings of great wisdom writers like Dr. Holmes, who are guiding me based on the circumstances I am addressing. Such is the case of the lesson above.
Such statements as the quote, “To the Soul that knows its own Divinity” et al. This should be the prayer of every person who feels Helpless to know what He or She can offer the Peoples of Ukraine in their terrible strife. Let us all unite in Truth, read the lesson again, find a place of peace and serenity, offer a prayer based on Invincibility, and embrace and heal those who are needing it most.
