So...LET'S TALK!!
In choosing the quote from our Beloved Dr. Holmes for today's lesson on “Revelation”, I realized that many of us tend to put the “cart before the horse”.
Please re-read the first two sentences which inspire my writing today, and see if you can see The Revelation, so-called, that Dr. Holmes is pointing out. The subtleties are present but often overlooked. Are we starting our treatment with the “problem” to be healed, rather than the perfection which often is hidden from our Conscious Mind? We are working with Sub-Conscious Mind which is not so obvious. Remember: Perfection cannot reveal itself if we are concentrating on appearance or a so-called defect that exists in the mind of the patient or the practitioner.
This may not seem like a Revelation to many of you and it may seem redundant.. but it is so important that it is always worth repeating. In my professional Ministerial / Practitioner practice, I have observed that sometimes we fall into this entrapment of the “obvious” - especially if it is in the form of the “small self” story, malady, or circumstance that is presented to us by the patient. It is our important work to constantly reveal what we Know - which is not as obvious - but inevitably present in all matters: The Spiritual Perfection that is the Truth of You, your client, and indeed all of us. And when that Truth is revealed - ALL can be healed.
Should you find yourself falling into this pattern remember the word Revelation in this context.
So, let’s “move the horse in front of the cart” and let the healing begin!
