The Source of power: While the intellectual approach to the subject of healing is invaluable, we should never forget that power comes from the cultivation of the mystical. The intellectual is the outer approach to truth; the mystical is the inner. We need to develop the inner side of life.
We do this by spending time in quiet contemplation of the fact that each of us is just as truly and completely indwelt by the Infinite Presence as Jesus or any other outstanding man; that every erg of energy that was available to Jesus is available to us; that our body is so completely intertwined with this Presence that they cannot be separated; that every single cell of the body is filled to its capacity by this Presence; that God is not one inch farther away from us than He was from Jesus; that all this healing Presence, in its entirety, is in us at this very moment awaiting our recognition.
To the degree that we open our whole selves to the All-Powerful Presence, and get the feel, the awareness, of it, we shall have power.
